Ms. Dwyer's Spanish Class

I've always had a love for Spanish since the first day I have taken it. After the many years of taking the class, I wanted to improve in the language and in the long run, become fluent. This year I am in AP Spanish and I love to use the language as much as I can. With the mentoring program, I saw an opportunity to help kids learn Spanish along with help expand my vocabulary by talking to the teacher of the class. I was able to use my love for the language and help the many kids learn and see the tru amazing aspects of this language and learning it.

When in the classroom, I helped Ms. Dwyer as much as I could. I helped with grading papers or projects and helped explain the content to the kids. Over the time in class the kids came to me for help and asked questions they had about the language. I was so excited to help them and answer their questions that they had. When Ms. Dwyer was out, all te kids turned to me to be the the teacher and flooded me with questions. I taught them things they needed to know nad I felt so accomplished when I saw the light hit their eyes when they finally got the content. It was truly an amazing experience for me, and I loved every second of it.
